ABOUT US
We noticed the increased lack of connection between college students and the neighboring communities. Thrive Together connects college students back to where they live, and combines resources to maximize impact.
The mission of Thrive Together is to support community health and education by addressing social and health inequities in North Carolina communities. We hope to bridge the gap between communities by providing resources and resolving pressing needs.
WHAT WE DO
Thrive Together is a collaboration between UNC Chapel Hill and Duke University students. We are currently recruiting UNC and Duke students for board, project officer, and member roles. We primarily serve communities in the Research Triangle Park and throughout North Carolina with a particular focus on community health and child wellbeing.
VOLUNTEERING
We serve communities throughout NC by bringing families together breaking boundaries, solving problems, and forming strong, secure relationships.
SUPPORTING
We work with private and government organizations, helping expanding their reach and assisting previously underserved families and communities.
CONNECTING
We connect families with local resources while spreading information to ensure that individuals have the best chance of success and long-term independence.
